Applications

 

N, N-Dimethylaniline is used as an intermediate to manufacture dyes, vanillin, tetramethyldiaminobenzophenone (white to greenish solid used as important intermediate for making dyes, pigments and photosensitizers) and other organic products. It is also used as a stabilizer for colorimetric peroxides determination.
