Description
|
Molybdenum
Trioxide is a fine yellow crystalline powder that develops a blush
coloration as a result of superficial surface reduction. It is
represented by the chemical formula MoO3. The product is also known
as Molybdic Oxide, Molybdic Acid Anhydride, and Molybdenum (VI) Oxide. It
is very slightly soluble in water and very soluble in excess alkali with
the formation of Molybdates.
