Description

Molybdenum Trioxide is a fine yellow crystalline powder that develops a blush coloration as a result of superficial surface reduction. It is represented by the chemical formula MoO3. The product is also known as Molybdic Oxide, Molybdic Acid Anhydride, and Molybdenum (VI) Oxide. It is very slightly soluble in water and very soluble in excess alkali with the formation of Molybdates.
